BookForge
A writing studio that takes an author from blank page to finished book.
BookForge goes from an idea to a manuscript: it helps shape the outline, drafts and redrafts each chapter alongside the author, and exports something that reads as a book rather than as generated text.
The design rule throughout is that the AI works beside the author and never over them. It proposes, the author decides, and nothing is rewritten without being asked. Writers abandon tools that take the pen out of their hand.
Technically it is our clearest example of long-running generation inside an editing interface: work that takes minutes rather than milliseconds, has to survive a closed laptop, and must never lose a chapter someone spent a week on.
What this one demonstrates
Long-running AI work inside a real editing interface, where the person stays in control of the output.
